Marlon keeps himself in great health by going to the gym regularly, regular stretching and a healthy diet but lately he has been experiencing extreme back pain. Unfortunately his local NHS doctor has given a date 6 months in the future to get a scan. The back pain is affecting his work and earnings so Marlon needs to get this fixed a lot sooner.
Pain Points
Often in the past with health issues that pop up out of no where Marlon has found the time between him going into the doctors and getting the underlying issue fixed has gotten longer and longer. If there was a way to access treatment within days he would consider paying extra.

Shelby used to work for the NHS until he realised he could offer better care privately. For 3 years he has worked for a private local doctors.
Eventually he would consider being a independent private consultant for local patients but hasn't found the right place to advertise his services.
Pain Points
Shelby often finds within the private doctors he works for there is a communication issue between patients. Often the advice and care he gives could be given quickly over the phone or over a 1-1 video call with the patient.

To ensure security and genuine sign ups we implemented 2 factor authentication.
Task Completion & Survey
Each user starts their journey with a questionnaire about themselves and their symptoms. This data is available to the chosen doctor so they have a precise overview of the patients current situation.
Doctor Selection
When all initial tasks are completed the patient is shown a filtered list of doctors that are specailists in that area.
Calling
Basic calling functionality that allows both parties to jump on a call together, if we were to expand here other UX options would be added. For example mute, switch camera mode and other in call options that would better the experience between patient and doctor.
